I've been here for a total of three weeks and already I have a technology crisis (that is currently being fixed, before you all freak out!). I open a seemingly harmless facebook message that leads to a video link...very normal....it required me to download adobe....again, very normal....however, after a few failed tries to open it, I decided to leave it. Next think I know, I'm getting random websites popping up and my computer is apparently in "danger of security breach!!!!!!!!!!!". Or something like that. So I take it to IT, and they tell me I have a facebook virus that they can do nothing about, take it to the PC clinic....thank you very much. They tell me it will cost 30 pounds and will take a week to even get an appointment.....you have GOT to be kidding me.....welcome to the UK. Then they tell me, "oh and there is a place by the West Gate on South Street too". Ok, I'm going there because I don't want to wait a week. So currently, my computer is in surgery for the next 24 hours, getting rid of the so-called facebook virus.....I hate facebook right now.....But for now, that's all folks....back to you in the studio, Bob.
